WEAPONS OF SELF DEFENCE
Many would argue the use of any weapons when it comes to self-defence, and it all seems fair when the argument for karate training is that of "empty hands" as opposed to the carrying of weapons to defend yourself.
Fair enough, but we are not living in decades past. Today's confrontations are more brutal and violent than ever before, and chances are, you are going to be hurt by whatever your attacker is using.
Why shouldn't you be able to defend yourself with any type of weapon, being this a broom stick, a comb, a fence paling, or better still, HIS own weapon? In our system of self defence, we are able to complement our martial studies with proper training in the use of many Okinawan weapons, and the traditions and Kata, mainly Matayoshi's and Ryu Kon Kai kobudo Kata, are maintained unchanged.

When it comes to ONE on ONE, we are ready for it. When it comes to many onto ONE, we are also ready for them, but when it comes to ONE against many armed to the teeth, if  running is not sufficient, then we will defend ourselves with whatever we can put our hands on!
One must accept the fact that in the end it is not the way I will survive, but how I will survive. If ultimately one have to use a weapon to survive, so be it, but make sure you know how to use one. Many have fallen victim to the appalling situation where the use of a weapon has cause more harm than good. 
In a world that is changing day after day because of ideologies, politics, drugs or whatever, we think you should be prepared for it, and come out of it unchallenged!
