Sensei Luis Javier Rodriguez Acuña was born in Chillan, Chile, in August 1961. He is from a family of dedicated students, and besides himself, all his children have followed their father´s path into Martial Arts.
Two of his sons are both black belts Sandan, and together with their father run a very successful chain of local dojos in the region.
Sensei Rodriguez started Karate training at the tender age of 16 and has never looked back since.
With nearly 40 years of practice under his belt, he now boasts a Godan Menjo in Goju Ryu Karate, but has also tried other forms of martial arts including Kempo, Goju Shorei Ryu, Seido Juku, Shotokan and Okinawa Goju Ryu.
In the last ten years, Sensei has built some very solid reputation, and today he runs and manages one of the most successful Karate Dojo in the South of Chile, including a very practical and dedicated effort to teach disadvantaged kids in the area, especially during Summer vacation,
where he runs Clinics and Seminars open to all and sundry chiefly free of charge.
Sensei Rodriguez has been fortunate to have been trained by some of the best exponents in
Latin America, and counts among others Sensei Arturo Petit of Kempo Karate, Miguel Soffia of
Goju Shorei, Sensei Carlos Yañez of Shotokan, Patricio Cifra of Okinawa Goju Ryu, Juan Gallardo
of Seiko Juku, Shihan Roque Carrizo of Argentina, Shihan Tanaka in Brazil, T. Nakamura of the USA

His participation and support, will open another chapter in the development of Goju Ryu Karate,

Laxmikant Sarang Sensei started his Karate career back in the year 1979 in India. He took free Karate classes being offered by a Sensei Pitale head of the Pitale Martial Arts,in the Central Mumbai area (Shisvena Bhavan- Dadar)
He obtained his Shodan grade and stayed with Pitale Sensei until the year 1986. Due to unwelcome politics, he decided to quit and joined Shihan Nirmal 4th dan, black belt of the Fudoshin Martial Arts School.
Under this banner, Sensei Sarang took classes in different areas of Mumbai such as Kirti College, Bhavans College, Somaiya College, Dhavari Shramik Vidyapith, SNDT Girls College and others.
By the auspices of the Indo Karate & Sports Federation under Renshi Pradeep Mohite, Sarang Sensei has been promoted to his 3rd, 4th and 5th Degree black belt. He has also obtained a 5th degree Mastership by the Jeet Kune Do Federation of India. At present, Sarang Sensei is the Chief Instructor of the Nihonsiki Karate & Sports Federation (Goju Ryu style) Nihonsiki Karate Centres are found all over Mumbai with black belts students trained there reaching the 50 mark.
Under Sensei Nirmal, he was trained in Judo, Karate, Kung-Fu and kick boxing and obtained his Nidan Black Belt Certificate successfully the first time. Immediately after the Black Belt examination, Sarang Sensei got an opportunity to join Mumbai Police Force (Especial Operations Squad) During his Commando Training for SOS, Sarang Sensei was introduced to Shihan Vispy Kapadia of Goju Kai  Karate-do - Gojukan India. He's a 6th degree black belt form theGoju style under Yamaguchi Hanshi (deceased)After four years of rigorous training, Sarang Sensei was awarded Shodan for the third time in a different school of martial Arts. Two years later, Sensei Kapadia bestows Sarang Sensei with his Second Degree black belt.
Sarang Sensei has achieved great goals and trained with some of the best known Karate Masters in the world. For that reason we believe he could only benefit the development and spread of the Goju Ryu style of Karate do in India under the banner of Kenyukan Goju Ryu International, from which he has received full recognition.
In the Spring of 2006, Sensei Sarang visited Sydney for the International Gasshuku at the Honbu, together with 5 other students. In this occasion, he was granted the rank of Rokudan (6th dan) by Soshi A de Araya, under the jurisdiction of the Kokusai Kenyukan Kai Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate & Kobudo .
Later still, in 2015, he attended the International Gasshuku being held again in the So-Honbu in Sydney, and was tested and graded Nanadan (7th dan) Menkyo Kaiden, and has since uphold the traditions of the Okinawa Goju Ryu system we implement around the world .
